About The Role
We are seeking a strategic, client-focused PR Account Specialist to join our team and lead the delivery of exceptional PR services for our clients. You will manage client relationships, develop strategic PR campaigns, and ensure flawless execution of communications initiatives that drive business results.
Reporting to the CEO, you will serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, translating their business objectives into compelling PR strategies and tactical execution plans. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability to deliver measurable results for clients.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Serve as primary contact for assigned client accounts
- Lead client meetings, reporting, and strategic reviews
- Translate business objectives into PR strategies
PR Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop integrated PR and media campaigns
- Craft brand narratives and storytelling platforms
- Identify cultural positioning opportunities
Media Relations
- Build relationships with journalists and editors
- Secure strategic media coverage
- Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and releases
Content & Messaging
- Develop key messages and thought leadership content
- Ensure brand consistency across communications
Events & Activations
- Support media events, launches, and PR experiences
- Oversee media engagement at brand activations
Reporting & Insights
- Track campaign performance and media coverage
- Deliver client reports with actionable insights
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Mass Communication, or related field
- Minimum 4 years post-NYSC PR/communications experience
- Active NIPR or CIPR membership required
- Strong media relationships within Nigeria
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Agency experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

About The Role
We are seeking a culturally attuned, digitally savvy Digital Communications Specialist to join our team and amplify both our clients' presence and the Company's brand across digital platforms. You will be responsible for translating brand strategy into compelling digital content, managing social media ecosystems, and creating narratives that resonate with Nigerian audiences.
Reporting to the CEO, you will split your focus between client work and building our Company's leadership presence through our newsletter, blog, and social channels.
The successful candidate will combine digital expertise with cultural intelligence to create content that connects brands to the conversations that matter. This is a unique opportunity to shape how premium brands show up in Nigerian culture while establishing our Company as the authority on brand-culture integration in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Development
- Write long-form blog posts and articles that establish thought leadership
- Position our brand as a voice on culture and strategic communications
- Create case studies and insights pieces from client work (with appropriate confidentiality)
- Build digital assets that attract premium clients and talent
Client Digital Strategy & Content Development
- Develop and execute digital communication strategies aligned with client brand positioning
- Create compelling content across formats (copy, visuals, video scripts) that reflects cultural authenticity
- Craft website content, blog posts, press releases, and digital marketing materials for clients
- Translate strategic objectives into platform-specific content calendars
- Collaborate with creative team to develop visual assets that enhance digital presence
Social Media Management
- Manage multiple client social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- Build and execute platform-specific content strategies that drive engagement
- Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, responding with brand voice
- Develop community management protocols for each client
- Identify cultural moments and create real-time content that positions clients within relevant conversations
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments
- Prepare monthly digital performance reports with actionable insights for clients and Carpe Diem
- Identify content performance patterns and optimization opportunities
- Monitor competitor digital presence and industry benchmarks
- Present performance data to the leadership team in clear, strategic formats
Media Relations & Influencer Engagement
- Identify and build relationships with digital media outlets and content creators
- Coordinate digital PR campaigns and media placements
- Manage influencer partnerships and content collaborations
- Secure digital coverage that amplifies client reach and credibility
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
- Minimum 4 years post-NYSC experience in digital communications, social media management, or content strategy
- Experience working in a PR agency or brand environment, managing multiple accounts
- Cultural awareness and demonstrated understanding of Nigerian digital culture and social media trends
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands and platforms
- Proficiency in newsletter platforms (Substack, Mailchimp, Beehiiv, or similar)
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar)
- Experience with social media analytics and performance reporting
- Excellent visual storytelling ability with basic design sensibility
- - Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization
- Experience growing email lists from zero to 1,000+ subscribers
- Understanding of paid social media advertising and performance marketing
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and creator economy
- Portfolio demonstrating cultural campaigns, viral content, or thought leadership writing
